A silver pendant designed in the shape of a traditional Peruvian pan flute (zampoña), handcrafted by the artisans in the Jewels of Cusco jewerly workshop.
This pendant is handcrafted using 950 silver (95% pure silver) and natural pigments. The indigo blue, turquoise and green colors are derived from stones, while the purple, red, orange, pale yellow and white colors are derived from sea shells.
The design in the photo represents the rainbow, an important element in traditional designs since the age of the Inka civilization. A variety of different color combinations is available and custom implementations are possible as well.
The width is 1.6 cm. The length on the long side is 3 cm and on the short side is 1.2 cm.
A chain or choke made of silver or silver/leather combination can be purchased separately – a variety of designs and sizes are available. Please contact us using the product enquiry form for more information.
950 silver contains a very high percentage of pure silver which is malleable in nature and it should to be handled with care to avoid scratches. It can be washed with cold or hot water and detergent and soft fabric such as cotton.

Great communication. Professional service. Very impressed by the speedy email updates on my purchase, the personal touch is much appreciated and fairly unusual when purchasing online.
All jewelry look better than in the photos and of very good quality, even though a little bit expensive. Would definitely recommend and use again.

This bracelet is probably my favorite piece of jewelry. The workmanship is very fine, and the rainbow of colors in the stones and shells are vibrant and clear. The clasp is so beautiful that I wear it on top of my wrist to show it off.5 months 4 weeks agoView review

These earrings are gorgeous, the pictures don't do them justice enough! The colors from stones and sea shells are beautiful and bright and the design is harmonious and elegant. The silver is brighter than other jewelry I have, probably due to higher concentration in pure silver (950 silver).

Beautiful jewelry and it was difficult to make a decision what to buy. This Pachamama (Mother Earth) set (ring and earrings) was one of my favorites. High quality silver in a charming 5 color combination with sea shells and precious stones.

I love these earings for their exquisite design, traditional Peruvian, yet modern. Silver is of high quality.
What is 950 silver?
Pure silver is very soft by its nature and it cannot be easily used to craft jewelry. An alloy that consists of 92.5% of silver and 7.5% of other metals (usually copper) is most commonly used for making jewelry - this is called "sterling silver". Our artisans use "950 silver" which is an alloy consisting of 95% silver and 5% of copper or other metals and which is one of the highest silver standards used for crafting jewelry that is currently in use.
