From time to time we purchase handmade products from local artisans that we encounter on the streets. The products may be of good quality but they are one time purchases and we may not be able to integrate the artisans into the project and maintain a shop for their products yet. Or the products may not meet the quality standards that we would like to see in our marketplace. We purchase such products to encourage them and promote their handcrafting. Most of the costs for these products are on us and we only charge a small price that will help us to maintain this initiative.
